Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

This policy explains what personal data Dorado Trading collects through dorado-trading.com, why we collect it and what your rights are. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

Dorado Trading is a small business based in Dublin, Ireland, that makes trading tools for MetaTrader 5. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can contact us at [email protected].

What we collect and why

Email sign-up. If you join our mailing list, we collect your email address. We use it only to send you news about Dorado tools: product launches, updates to Dorado Trend and occasional market breakdowns. Our legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).

We use double opt-in: after you sign up, we send one email asking you to confirm. Your address is only added to our list once you click the confirmation link.

Our emails may record whether they were opened and which links were clicked. This helps us see what readers find useful. You can avoid it by blocking images in your email app.

Visiting the website. This website does not set cookies or use tracking for advertising. Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the page and protect it from attacks.

Embedded video. Our demo video is embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube does not store information about you unless you play the video. If you do, YouTube (Google) may set cookies under its own privacy policy.

Who processes your data

Both act as processors under data processing agreements. We never sell or rent your data, and we don't share it with anyone else for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect straight away.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

Email [email protected] and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
